What is a build-ready system?

A build-ready system is an idea that has been shaped enough that someone can act on it without guessing what it is meant to become.

Short answer: It usually includes the goal, audience, inputs, workflow, output, constraints, review points, and next steps. It may not be finished software, but it is no longer just a vague thought.

Why it matters

AI can produce a lot of output, but output is not the same as progress. Build-ready structure makes the next step clear.

How Aaron uses it

Aaron uses build-ready systems as handoffs for AI agents, developers, designers, clients, and future versions of a project.

Simple example

Instead of “make me an app,” the build-ready version says what the app does, who it helps, what screens it needs, what data it handles, and what should not be automated.
